Nestled in a luxury villa just steps from the golden sands of Praia da Luz, this retreat invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect — both with yourself and a community of like-minded travelers.
Begin each day with grounding yoga classes, breath meeting breeze. Then savor homemade Portuguese unhurried brunch shared around a table with new friends who feel like old ones.
Some afternoons call for nothing more than the pool, the sun, the silence. Others beckon you toward Lagos — a city of weathered stone and whispered history, where cobbled streets hold centuries of stories waiting to be wandered.
This is a retreat not just for the body, but for the soul: a place to soften, to savor, and to remember what it feels like to simply be.

The Villa is located in the beachy town of Luz, 15 minutes from the historic town of Lagos. There are two recommended airports. Lisbon International Airport (Humberto Delgado) is approximately 3 hours north of the villa and Faro International Airport (FAO) is 1 hour east of the villa.
Items at own expense:
Transportation to/from the Villa on the first and last day of the retreat. Transportation coordination support is available upon request and we will endeavor to maximize car sharing.
Faro Airport: 4 person private car = 95€ (total)
Lisbon Airport: 4 person private car = 420€ (total)

Cancellation by the Guest
● 90+ days before retreat start: 50% of payment refunded, minus a 4% administrative fee.
● Less than 90 days before retreat start, or no-shows: No refund and no credit.
Because refunds are limited or unavailable close to the retreat date, guests are strongly encouraged to file a claim with their travel insurance provider for reimbursement of otherwise non-refundable costs.

Meet your Hosts
Sisters who found each other on the wandering path of life - and more accurately, Thames Street Yoga, Newport, RI, circa 2013.

Liz Corwin is a former U.S. Navy F-18 fighter pilot and founder of Wild Ground, a refined sanctuary for unruly, soul-led women. After twenty-two years of military service, she transitioned from cockpit to classroom, teaching yoga first aboard an aircraft carrier and eventually around the world through teacher trainings, workshops, and retreats. Her work now integrates advanced embodiment, shadow exploration, and Wild Woman Archetype cultivation — guiding women who are rewriting their story. Featured in The New York Times and Yoga Journal, Liz is known for her joyful presence, visceral storytelling, and ability to bridge structure with wildness in both life and work. Liz has hosted 17 yoga retreats worldwide since 2016 and continues to radiate her love for culture, travel, art, poetry, beauty, belly laughs, and warrior spirit.

Patti Doyle is currently teaching weekly at Nanaquaket Yoga Studio in Tiverton, Rhode Island. She is the former owner/operator of Thames Street Yoga in Newport, RI and Shunya Studio in Portsmouth, RI. In that capacity, she directed the teacher training program for some 10 years and certified literally hundreds of students.
She received her 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification from Soma Yoga in Newport, RI and her 300 Hour Yoga Alliance Certification from Beryl's Bender Birch's The Hard and The Soft Yoga Institute. She has done multiple trainings with a variety of teachers at Kula Yoga in New York and South Boston Yoga in Boston, MA. She continues to enjoy the privilege of furthering her own practice with other local and national teachers. Patti's classes are challenging but their spontaneous nature allows for the exploration of various modifications to allow the practice to resonate on a deeply personal level.

Rachael is the dedicated owner of Nanaquaket Yoga Studio, bringing over 10 years of experience to her vibrant community. With a deep passion for inspiring her students, she encourages everyone to reconnect with their inner greatness through her dynamic and engaging classes. Rachael's unique approach ensures that no two sessions are ever the same, as she seamlessly weaves breath work, yoga philosophy, and brief meditations into each experience, creating a holistic journey that nurtures both body and mind. Her warmth and enthusiasm make every class a celebration of movement and mindfulness. She is certified as an E-RYT500.
